Inquiry-Based Learning
Our workshops begin by getting you into the inquiry mindset. We then explore different processing skills needed to maximize investigable questions. Our process is based on the INQUIRE method to enhance creativity. We finish with an activity to help you apply these methods to your application.
Our Mission
The IBL Institute inspires the creation of new knowledge through critical thinking and problem-solving skills among formal and informal educators and learners via hands-on professional development programs. In the process, we cultivate a lifelong love of learning and community-based conservation among workshop participants.
Incorporating real-world applications into your program
Integrate inquiry into all educational programs, such as schools, universities, zoos, parks, museums, and businesses. Inquiry-based learning enhances traditional teaching methods and leads to better results.

"Without inquiry, there is no science! The IBL Institute training has opened our eyes regarding the importance of inquiry-based learning and the ease with which it can be implemented into our daily instruction. Teachers now have not only the understanding but experience of both the guided and open inquiry process."
